“A woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction.” Virginia Woolf

Drei Künstlerinnen (Yvonne Good, Anca Sinpalean, Judith Weidmann) verhandeln ihren Arbeits- und/oder Wohnraum.
“The physical space we occupy, at home or at work, is designed to (barely) accommodate our body - the carrier of an immaterial and vast territory of thought, creativity and emotion. What kind of relationships do we build with our everyday surroundings? How do we cope with the six square meters - the swiss minimum for a working space in an open office - if we are lucky enough to have it? How do women protect their personal and social space, given that they are usually at a disadvantage? The title «Trip Around My Room» suggests that in spite of the confinement of a small apartment, a shared room or a tiny desk, women’s resourcefulness and imagination can send them on journeys of freedom.” (AS)
